In this admittedly-light quarterly snapshot of New Zealand’s tech news, the country enjoyed headlines spanning areas as diverse as cryptocurrency-focused estate planning, the boosting of Five Eyes-like intelligence-sharing efforts with Japan, and the NZ gov’t partnering with AWS for cloud services.
Our coverage of New Zealand’s tech scene has been gradually diminishing over time, as can be seen in this quarterly collection. Because of this, we’re now planning to fold New Zealand coverage into the Australian tech news coverage we provide, something we expect to commence as of Q3 2023.
We also deliver a weekly email newsletter, capturing the week’s tech news headlines from across Asia Pac and the Indo-Pacific.
